Blue headed macaw

The blue headed macaw is native to eastern peru, north western bolivia, western brazil.
The blue headed macaw is a small parrot its length is 41 cm. It is mainly green plumage often tinged olive, flight feathers, and primary coverts blue, the upper tail had a maroon base, a narrow green center and blue tip, the undertail and underwing are greenish yellow, the bill is pale greyish horn with black base, the iris is whiteish with a narrow often barely visible maroon eye ring. the facial skin and lores are dark greyish, the legs are dull pinkish.
The blue headed macaw is found in the amazon , The weight of the macaw is 298-307 grams, its lifespan is 30-40 years, the incubation is 26 days, age at weaning is 14-16 weeks, age at maturity is 3 years.
The diet consists of berries fruits and seeds, They nest there holes in high forest trees and the normal clutch is 3-4 days.
