Golden Collared macaw

The golden collared macaw is from Central south america including parts of paraguay, brazil, bolivia, and argentina. The scientific name is ara auricollis.

The size is it reaches 15 inches from the beak to the tail, the lifespan is more than 50 years. It is a inteligent parrot with resourceful, they thrive on there attention towards owners.

The colors is yellow collared macaw have green bodies with striking yellow bands around there backs of the neck. They have blueish black forehead, large white eye patches, and maroon tails with bright blue on there hips. The beaks are mostly black, fading towards the upper mandible at the end.

The golden macaw eats fruits and vegetables, the supplements are seeds and nuts. The golden macaw loves to play outside it need to be out for 1-2 hours a day. They are charming, crafty, comical, they are extremely inteligent and easy to train.

These birds are quiet noise but very giftable to others love people.
